Overview of Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services.
  • Create and execute sourcing strategies that enhance cost-effectiveness, mitigate risks, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Lead demand forecasting, production scheduling, and capacity planning to balance production needs
  • Leverage advanced planning tools and ERP systems to optimize planning processes.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained for uninterrupted operations.
  • Implement best practices in inventory control to minimize waste and reduce holding costs.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage logistics operations for both domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight carriers, and distribution centers to optimize delivery schedules, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Continuously review and enhance logistics strategies to ensure cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks related to suppliers, material shortages, and transportation delays.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the growth of a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encourage professional development, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
  • More of generalist supply chain background is ideal.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with demonstrated expertise in procurement, planning, inventory, and distribution.
