Territory Sales Manager – Industrial
SkyWater is partnering with a fast-growing industrial packaging company located in the Minneapolis area. They have provided top quality packaging and end-of-line automation solutions to various industries for nearly 50 years.
The role of Territory Sales Manager is an outside sales position traveling throughout the MN metro. This individual would be supported by a sales & marketing team generating warm leads. My client is targeting a hunter to sell products on value while up selling several given accounts. Selling mainly into industrial manufacturing, this individual should have an industrial sales background – automation experience is a plus!
This is a pivotal role suited for someone excited to pursue new business, develop territories, and engage clients with refined presentation skills. They offer a strong benefits package along with salary + commission.
Total compensation between $90k – $100k.
Responsibilities
- Leverage contemporary selling strategies to identify and acquire new business
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company’s product lines
- Address customer needs by aligning value-based solutions within the customer’s objectives
- Travel for the purpose of soliciting orders, sharing new product information, and assessing current or prospective customer needs
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2-4+ years of industrial sales experience is desired
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience selling tangible products or equipment is preferred
- Sales presentation skills
- Hunter mentality
