SkyWater Search is thrilled to conduct the search for a dynamic VP of Human Resources at a $1B, privately-held, distribution organization. This organization is known as a leader in their space, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and strong domestic and global presence.

This individual is a key addition to an outstanding executive team and will play a pivotal role in building out a best-in-class HR function. This role is perfect for a hands-on yet strategic HR leader who has a strong generalist background, is passionate about driving talent initiatives, and is committed to fostering a culture of results and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategic oversight and delivery of the company's HR function.
  • Own and operate leadership development initiatives, aligned with the CEO’s vision for growth, talent, skills and experience required.
  • Serve as internal consultant to managers and other leaders on all employee relations matters.
  • Oversee employee engagement and work environment initiatives, including recognition and reward efforts and social/community events.
  • Help to oversee enterprise performance management efforts, including organizational design, workflow, monthly performance review, job restructuring, and annual appraisal processes.
  • Manage change and communication efforts related to employment within the organization.
  • Oversee all Compensation & Benefits programs, while also managing strategic efforts as it relates to benefits offerings, compensation philosophy, pay structure and design, job evaluation, and merit.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SPHR qualified and additional certifications desired.
  • Robust HR Leadership experience, with a focus on growth, transformation and change management.
  • Ability to work well on a team, resolve problems, mediate, manage conflict, and build rapport with others.
  • Experience with multi-site, domestic and international businesses, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry,
  • Knowledge of benefits design and administration
  • Expertise in performance management, including program design and administration.
