VP of Finance
SkyWater is thrilled to be partnering with a new client of ours to help them find their next VP of Finance due to an upcoming retirement.
As the top accounting and finance person, you will have the opportunity to get in the weeds with the accounting team, while also driving forecasting and budgeting, as well as working in tandem with the President to drive strategy and growth.
The company recently changed ownership structure so a lot of change is coming – new systems, new processes, new reporting, etc. We need someone who not only embraces change, but THRIVES in it.

Responsibilities
- Oversee finance and accounting operations (budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and compliance).
- Collaborate with executive leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision making.
- Lead, mentor and develop strong accounting & finance team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/ finance experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience sitting as the top accounting and finance person, driving strategy and growth
- Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting and forecasting
- Thrives in change
