Practice Director, Accounting & Finance - Chicago

Josh serves as the Practice Director for the Accounting & Finance search practice at SkyWater Search Partners, leveraging over 17 years of expertise in Public Accounting, Internal Audit, and Executive Search. He specializes in leading Accounting & Finance leadership searches and fostering long-term relationships with a diverse client base, including large publicly traded corporations, private equity-backed firms, and family-owned businesses.

Prior to joining SkyWater, Josh spent 5 years in public accounting and industry, where he gained extensive experience in audit, tax, and partnering cross-functionally, working directly with C-Suite leaders.

With degrees in accounting and finance from the University of MN – Duluth, Josh utilizes his academic and real-world accounting knowledge to quickly build rapport with candidates and clients and takes a consultative approach.

In his free time, you will find Josh leading various events with his daughter’s Girl Scout troop, cooking new recipes at home, and staying active – hiking, skiing, and playing Pickleball!
