As an Associate at SkyWater Search, Yazan (Yaz) currently works with a “full desk” on the Operations & Engineering recruiting team. The SkyWater Operations & Engineering team focuses on growth-oriented, middle-market companies based in the Midwest.

Yaz was born in Dubai and he came to MN when he was 12 years old. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelors in Sociology. Prior to joining SkyWater, he spent the last 6+ years at Actalent (formerly Aerotek), where she specialized in Software/ Hardware engineering.

Yaz is the youngest of 6 other siblings: 2 sisters and 4 brothers. He just married his wife in Greece and they have a pup daughter called Gnocchi. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He likes to golf, play basketball and pickleball.

Within this team, Yaz specializes in recruiting & placing talent in full-time, permanent positions at various levels & titles. His team also has the capability to work on staff-level operations and engineering roles.
